Time Strategies

 Thoughts about time management strategies

For this class, I will be finishing all of my tasks before the due date and also doing extra credit tasks. I know I will have challenges along the way and I will have doubts about doing them on the very last day but I will push through and remind myself that this challenge won't last forever and that I will figure it out.

Realistic Study Plans by Amanda Collins  ←Click for post

In this post by Amanda Collins, she mentions printing out a template to fill in your study plan and I have started doing this and it helps you stay focused on your tasks. Amanda Collins talks about having realistic study sessions and I have finally come to terms that my study sessions are at night when the house is quiet and it is peaceful with no distractions.

Ticking of my goals is very important to me because once I submit that assignment it gives me the motivation to start the next one. I have realised that ticking something off from my template makes me try harder to submit my work before the due date and to complete it to my full potential.

Time Management Tips Just for Creatives ←Click for post

by Amanda Oliver

Amanda Olivers mentions "work when you work best" and I work best at night and I think after all this time trying to do my work during the day and it not working out I realised to leave it till the night and it works great.

Procrastination is what everyone has but if you can push through it and I did it makes you feel accomplished and happy in the end.

The last point in the post that I think is useful with time management is to do the worst things first. There is nothing better than finishing that assignment that you don't enjoy first and I can agree on that so I will start doing it more often.
