Games GDD
Game Design Document
A game design document is a plan of how your game will be developed. The game design document serves as a blueprint from which your game is then built (Game Design Document Template, n.d.) . This document helps you pre production and post production. While you are designing you follow the blueprint making it easier for you to follow along and not forget any steps. The gdd is straight forward and is easy to understand when you follow each step correctly. The purpose is for you to plan out your game so that you know what components you want so you could achieve your ending goal. The articles I read were very useful and helped me understand the next steps I will be taking for my game design.
