Before starting this task I had a feeling I would not enjoy this at all, not just because it was 200 minutes long but also because it is creating a game. To my surprise I really enjoyed it. The tutorials were hard to understand at first, it was also hard to figure out what everything means and what are all of the buttons and widgets. It was terrifying to start the tutorials just because they seemed very hard but the videos were very helpful and it was great to know there is a step-by-step to follow and not just here you go and figure it out on your own. 


Once I started the tutorials I really got into it and it started getting better and better with every tutorial and I must say I really enjoyed it yet I still don't know what half of the buttons mean. The videos were good quality and the man explaining was helpful. I found some things difficult for example when he was explaining some things like the camera movement I was confused but I figured some things out later on after rewatching some of the tutorials. 


I am looking forward to the next steps in this project and figuring out how more tools work and overall exploring the program and finally creating my own game.

Projects: Vision Statement vision idea/design document     A vision idea/design document is created to present a plan that you have for your game. In this document, I will be expressing my idea of the game. I have decided that I am very interested in the game that would be called “Shooting stars”. I had game ideas like "shoot the starfish", shoot rings onto a big starfish, or shooting bubbles but I like the sound of shooting stars. The name "shooting stars" reminds me of the night, calmness, and overall peace. This game is all about relaxing your mind and destressing but also could be a challenge. Game Design Public domain license Link to image Game design seems hard yet after reading a few articles you soon realised how easy it can be to design and create a game. In my mind to create a game you have to be a genius with all of the knowledge of coding but after reading a post by Angela He" From Zero to Game Designer: how to start building video games even if you don’t have any experience"  you realise that in order to create a game all you need to have is an  idea, information about what kind of game you want it to be and the purpose, characters, some experience playing games, and some passion.   After reading the class reading task I realise you can create a game by drawing a simple line on a paper and dividing it into sections forming a challenge for the character.
