Unity Tutorials

I am not even going to sit here and pretend that I enjoy Unity one bit because I do not, maybe because I don't understand one bit of it and feel like anytime I try to understand I go one step forward and like four steps back. I enjoyed the first few tutorials because they were fun and I got to see my car move but now all of the new steps are added and I am stressed. The step by step is very helpful but once I got to the "Challenge 1 Plane Programming" I spend about 40 minutes trying to figure it out but my laptop would freeze and then things would delete so I had to restart the game about three times and once I got on my fourth  I decided to find a step by step on Youtube which saved my life because I would have not figured it out on my own. I do understand quit a few bits to Unity but some things like trying to change the speed or other things in the scripts is where it gets me. 

These tutorials do not take me the amount of time that they should and I spend extra hours trying to figure it out and get things working. In some cases, it's a letter that is not in capital and is ruining my script and in some cases, it's the wrong position. I am not confident at Unity at all but I would like to continue learning and improving.  I have a lot to learn and I hope that my laptop never freezes on me again.

Game Vision Statement

Projects: Vision Statement vision idea/design document     A vision idea/design document is created to present a plan that you have for your game. In this document, I will be expressing my idea of the game. I have decided that I am very interested in the game that would be called “Shooting stars”. I had game ideas like "shoot the starfish", shoot rings onto a big starfish, or shooting bubbles but I like the sound of shooting stars. The name "shooting stars" reminds me of the night, calmness, and overall peace. This game is all about relaxing your mind and destressing but also could be a challenge. Game Design Public domain license Link to image Game design seems hard yet after reading a few articles you soon realised how easy it can be to design and create a game. In my mind to create a game you have to be a genius with all of the knowledge of coding but after reading a post by Angela He" From Zero to Game Designer: how to start building video games even if you don’t have any experience"  you realise that in order to create a game all you need to have is an  idea, information about what kind of game you want it to be and the purpose, characters, some experience playing games, and some passion.   After reading the class reading task I realise you can create a game by drawing a simple line on a paper and dividing it into sections forming a challenge for the character.
