Unity Tutorial 03

This week's Unity tutorials were hard and I had to restart my game many times because I would either not add the right folder or something on my laptop would glitch. The Unity 2 tutorials were fun and showed me more tricks that I will use when creating my project. It was fun to see all of my animals move. I am enjoying creating on Unity but it is very difficult to figure out what goes where and if it doesn't work you are stuck for an hour trying to figure out in which part you went wrong. The videos are easy to follow through because in the instructions some parts go missing so if you follow them you will get lost and misplace something. I find some parts in the Unity tutorials difficult especially when I am lost and I have checked the scripts and find no mistakes yet the game is still not working. I need a lot more practice to get comfortable but I can see myself enjoying this more in the future. I like seeing it come together and being able to move the animals and control them with no difficulties. I am excited to add more obstacles and explore more game creating.

Game Vision Statement

Projects: Vision Statement vision idea/design document     A vision idea/design document is created to present a plan that you have for your game. In this document, I will be expressing my idea of the game. I have decided that I am very interested in the game that would be called “Shooting stars”. I had game ideas like "shoot the starfish", shoot rings onto a big starfish, or shooting bubbles but I like the sound of shooting stars. The name "shooting stars" reminds me of the night, calmness, and overall peace. This game is all about relaxing your mind and destressing but also could be a challenge. Game Design Public domain license Link to image Game design seems hard yet after reading a few articles you soon realised how easy it can be to design and create a game. In my mind to create a game you have to be a genius with all of the knowledge of coding but after reading a post by Angela He" From Zero to Game Designer: how to start building video games even if you don’t have any experience"  you realise that in order to create a game all you need to have is an  idea, information about what kind of game you want it to be and the purpose, characters, some experience playing games, and some passion.   After reading the class reading task I realise you can create a game by drawing a simple line on a paper and dividing it into sections forming a challenge for the character.
