 Reading week 04


This week I completed more readings that I found on "Google Scholar". It is great having Google Scholar because once you type in what you're searching for you get thousands of articles/books of your choice. I never knew about Google Scholar until this semester and it has helped me a lot to find the information I needed. 

I have found some good sources on "positive effects of gaming" but I am still gathering the right information. There is a lot of information on my topic and I need to go through every useful book/article/anything else I can find, gather the facts and what is useful for the game book. In my opinion highlighting the useful points and putting them into a word document is very helpful to keep up with the information you have gathered. Taking out sentences and rephrasing is a very important step because you don't want to be plagiarising.

Game Vision Statement

Projects: Vision Statement vision idea/design document     A vision idea/design document is created to present a plan that you have for your game. In this document, I will be expressing my idea of the game. I have decided that I am very interested in the game that would be called “Shooting stars”. I had game ideas like "shoot the starfish", shoot rings onto a big starfish, or shooting bubbles but I like the sound of shooting stars. The name "shooting stars" reminds me of the night, calmness, and overall peace. This game is all about relaxing your mind and destressing but also could be a challenge.
