 The Library tour by Lindsey was very useful and I learned how to use the college library more and how to reference properly. I learned what databases are and more about the library and how to use RefWorks. 


Matrix Method

My research strategy will be using something like the "matrix method" which allows you to create a table where you can gather your references, authors, and information for your writing (Writing A Literature Review and Using a Synthesis Matrix, 2015).  When creating a "matrix method" you create a chart with the author, year of publication, any information you found and the reference (Writing A Literature Review and Using a Synthesis Matrix, 2015). Once you are ready to write in your review you look back at your research table and start writing with the information you have gathered (Writing A Literature Review and Using a Synthesis Matrix, 2015). This is useful as it allows you to store information in one chart and makes it easy to access and keep track of references.

In my opinion, having a journal with a checklist is the best to keep track of your work. Saving links on a word document or in notes with the name of the topic is. very useful because it allows you to go back to your research if you need any more information.

    Hello Milena,
    I really like the topics you are interested in especially highest earning gamers. Pewdiepie is a really good example with his Minecraft series. I like your research methods- the matrix method that we have learned about and having to keep track of your research in a journal is a great strategy and I hope it’s a perfect match for you! Game Vision Statement

Projects: Vision Statement vision idea/design document     A vision idea/design document is created to present a plan that you have for your game. In this document, I will be expressing my idea of the game. I have decided that I am very interested in the game that would be called “Shooting stars”. I had game ideas like "shoot the starfish", shoot rings onto a big starfish, or shooting bubbles but I like the sound of shooting stars. The name "shooting stars" reminds me of the night, calmness, and overall peace. This game is all about relaxing your mind and destressing but also could be a challenge. Game Design Public domain license Link to image Game design seems hard yet after reading a few articles you soon realised how easy it can be to design and create a game. In my mind to create a game you have to be a genius with all of the knowledge of coding but after reading a post by Angela He" From Zero to Game Designer: how to start building video games even if you don’t have any experience"  you realise that in order to create a game all you need to have is an  idea, information about what kind of game you want it to be and the purpose, characters, some experience playing games, and some passion.   After reading the class reading task I realise you can create a game by drawing a simple line on a paper and dividing it into sections forming a challenge for the character.
